Cracked it with him in the movie theater at Beer Wars. Aroma is of heavy Pils and some light noble hop aroma. Taste is very reminiscent of light lagers, but bold, intense, and infinitely more satisfying. However, at the end of the day there is not much complexity here. It is a pretty good Pis, but.....well, meh. Ten Fidy/Gordon/Dales/Old Chub are better. jgb9348 (2500), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 17, 2009 Clear golden coloured body with a soapy white head that dissipates very fast. Aroma of fresh malt, a very light hop, some cardboard and a bit more of lemons -not too nice, but at least fresh. Medium to Light-bodied; Strong assertive malt and sugary sweetness up front fading to a mellow acidic floral citrus taste - with some light hops, I suppose. Aftertaste mild and malty, but showing some metallic and floral tastes as well. Overall, not a great beer - their other offerings are much better - but just because it’s in a can, it’s probably worth a sample. I even saved a bit in the can (instead of a glass) just to drink out of the can itself! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased at City Beer in San Francisco, California on 21-March-2009, sampled on 16-April-2009, when the Red Wings won game 1 of the 2009 NHL playoffs! The aroma was grassy, floral and a bit tart. The flavor was sour, tangy, grassy and had light crisp floral hops. The finish was short and a bit corny. Eh. Cavie (1430), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 15, 2009 Clean yellow, fluffy white head. Sweet malt aroma. Dunno. Sweet, hint of chardonnay oak with each sip, fades to nearly nothing more than a crisp clean cold steel finish. fly (1332), austin, Tejas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 15, 2009 s’allright. was hoping for a bit less cornaciousness and more sharp hop bite. Easy lawn mower beer I guess and not so bad, but I would much prefer the local Live Oak Pilz be put in a can.
