Commercial Description:
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Clean yellow, fluffy white head. Sweet malt aroma. Dunno. Sweet, hint of chardonnay oak with each sip, fades to nearly nothing more than a crisp clean cold steel finish.

s’allright. was hoping for a bit less cornaciousness and more sharp hop bite. Easy lawn mower beer I guess and not so bad, but I would much prefer the local Live Oak Pilz be put in a can.

Draft. Pours deep gold with clingy white head. Nose is hopcitrus, pale malt, with a flavor that is malty at first, then gives you the hopcitrus and some fruity notes. A bit of a disappointment, but even these guys are mortal.

Yellow fizzy with a white head. Grassy grass aroma. Some sweetness in the beginning before a bit of floral bitterness comes up. I’m not really mad at this one but I feel it could be better.

Can at Flying Saucer, Houston. Pours an average corn yellow with an aroma of faint butterscotch-soaked corn. Flavor is a full-bodied malted grain with faint corn and a subtle hop finish. Average mouthfeel. Refreshing; this could very well be my new session beer.

can and draft- found this to be a very enjoyable pils- crisp, dry on the finish, with a nice saaz bite- very quaffable.

Location: 12 oz can from Gilly’s, 4/13/09

Aroma: Corn, grass, sweet malts
Appearance: As the name would suggest...a clear yella
Flavor: Malty sweetness, typical of a Pils
Palate: Light body, a little metallic
Overall Impression: Not bad for a Pils, but fairly typical. Not a whole lot special on this one, but it works for what it is trying to be.
