clear yellow, fine white head, thick lace like ice on a winter window, floating ice crystals from the frozen glass, light indistinct malt aroma, creamy body, sweet corn flavor, light balancing bitterness but stays sweet overall, nice for a cream ale but that’s not saying much

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 18, 2007 Draft at Max’s. Clear yellow color with a foamy white head. Creamy texture, frothy, light and sweet corn and grain flavor, fresh, but really not too interesting. Refreshing and lightly spicy, with flavors and scents of creamed bananas, but all in all it’s a pretty regular beer. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2007 Tap @ Front Door: Pours a golden misty color, decent white head and lacing. Nose of light hops and a bit of thin malt, lightly lotiony. The flavor is creamy...along with some citrusy and light sweet pale malt notes. Not that intense, but that’s the idea. Easy drinking, yet a bit floral. Not bad. Ernest (4513), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a note of DMS.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Funny name, but it’s a long way from their pils (which is quite good). They can’t win ’em all, I guess. egajdzis (3638), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of bread, sweet, citrus, and cereal. More grains, toffee, citrus, and light sweetness in the taste. No flaws, pretty straight-forward. ratman197 (3256), Arvada, Colorado, USA
