does not count  Nov 9, 2009 Black as night, thick as oil pour. Really nice chocolate covered head but dissipates too soon. Great chocolate and coffee aroma. Love the aroma. Slight alcohol smell. Was surprised to taste the hops under the coffee, malt taste. Nice taste. Not something you can drink too much of at once. If you like think, mocha stouts then this is about as good as it gets. I am glad I tried it but I wouldn’t drink this on a regular basis. Would be good as a late night, after dinner beer.

Nov 8, 2009 Updated: Nov 9, 200912 oz can! Okay, Ten Fidy may not be the very best imperial stout, but why do I like it so much? Its black. No, I don’t mean black like the other imperial stouts, I mean opaque, with a very brown persistent head. The finish is dark roasted malt. Ten Fidy is to imperial stout what French Roast is to coffee. Good stuff.

Nov 1, 2009 @ a tasting, thanx David,pour black and opaque with a dark chocolate color head, aroma of raisins, nuts, chocolate and cherry liquor, flavor of coffee, nice roast, nutty bitterness and nice acidity, bitter towards the end, zesty and tasty, almost full-bodied, great stuff.

Oct 31, 2009 12 oz can served in a snifter. Served cold but still leaves an impressive milk chocolate brown head on top of the rich oil-like body. Aroma = Roasted. Slightly cola, even some ripe honeydew melon. Seriously, have a sniff. Full body... I mean FULL. Slick, thick, and creamy. Stout fans cometh. I’ve been waiting to try this brew for some time: The wait was worthwhile.

Oct 31, 2009 Can pours black with a turbulent dark brown head. Aroma is heavy in robust coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate with underlying notes of licorice and orange peel. Flavor is big and roasted with some tobacco in the finish. This beer definately goes for aggressiveness over complexity, but who says that’s a bad thing. A highly enjoyable imp that’s found it’s way to a permanent spot in my refrigerator.

Oct 30, 2009 POURED LIKE BLACK SYRUP. POURED VERY AGGRESSIVELY AND HARDLY ANY TAN HEAD. SMELLED LIKE SWEET AND FRUITTY.TASTED SWEET TO START A LITTLE BITTER TOWARD THE END WITH A NICE BITTER AFTER TASTE. ALSO A LITTLE ALCOHOL AT THE END.
