Commercial Description:
Oskar Blues has released a special draft-only seasonal beer for the winter months. Ten FIDY Imperial stout is a titanic wonder of a stout, immensely viscous, and loaded with neck-deep flavors of chocolate, malt, coffee, cocoa and oats. It’s the beer equivalent of decadently rich milkshake made with Whoppers malted-milk balls and Heaven’s best chocolate ice cream. Ten FIDY is about 10% ABV and is made with enormous amounts of two-row malts, chocolate malts, roasted barley, flaked oats and hops. Ten FIDY’s huge-but-comforting flavors hide a whopping 98 IBUs that are deftly tucked underneath the beer’s mountains of malty goodness.

Also affectionately known as Ten W FIDY (i.e., 10W-50).

Editor's Note: The brewery has had the ABV tested at a lab, which came out to 9.4%.

Fingers crossed this makes it out west. Stellar brew. As other notes state, coco, coffee, roasted malt with very slight sweet and vanilla. Where this wins for me is the texture and thickness though refreshing and never feeling that heavy.

can thanks to RCL. poured a used motor oil black with a chocolate brown head leaving some lacing. aroma was chocolate, dark roast grains, and alcohol. flavor was great with chocolate, some good bitter, and a nice blend of alcohol. had an oily finish with very low carbonation. GREAT STUFF!!

Surprisingly good for a canned beer. A good stout even though not my favorite type of beer. You can’t taste the ten percent alcohol.

Black in colour with a thin and quickly dissipating brown coloured head, very light patchy lacing. The aroma is very sweet, dark chocolate, liquorice, some espresso and alcohol. The flavour is of chocolate cake, cream, a bit syrupy, light alcohol and a small roast. Sweet mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes burnt with some chocolate and alcohol, lingering.

This is pretty straight forward. Thought that this was lacking considering how I’ve liked the other Oskar Blues beers that I have had.

355ml can obtained in a trade with Beerlando, thanks Bryan.

This is beer! This is real beer!. Dark black, dark brown head, mostly lasting, frothy. Dark, dark aroma, dark malts, burnt, roasted, laqurice, corn flakes. Flavor is eminent, strong, lasting, heavy, sweet notes, bitter all around, soft and gentle, violent at the same time. Iron, blood, strong. Duration: ½ an hour pr. sip. Soft texture, syrup, oily, dry.

Love this beer. Very thick. Hints of chocolate. Think and malty. Kind of reminds me of coffee.
