Rune (1508), Tromsø, Norway Nov 17, 2007 Pint on tap at the brewpub (5,8% ABV). Served at the right drinking temperature (this time). Slightly foggy brown body with no head. Sweet aroma of caramel and toffee. Quite enjoying flavour of dried fruits and fresh figs mixed with hints of honey sweetness. A light touch of bitterness towards the end. Typical OMB- carbonation. This is not a beer I would call a Dortmunder/Helles. Consumed in good company and splendid atmosphere after a board meeting in Oslo (13.11.2007). tarjei (1154), Bryne, Norway Sep 16, 2007 0,56 l at the brewpub. Dark golden color, small white head. Nice hops, sweetish and some fruity notes. I like it. yngwie (3454), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 6, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Served too cold. Clear, golden with a small off-white head. The aroma has the typical OMB-character, Malty and fruity, with caramel, some burnt hints, hops and sour notes. The flavor has caramel, some sourness and hops, and a sugary sweetness. Medium body and decent bitterness in the finish. Maybe a bit too gassy. Decent beer, nothing more. (060827) Sigmund (1928), Hafrsfjord, Norway Aug 29, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Served too cold. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Moderate head. Strong (and I mean REALLY strong) aroma of butterscotch / diacetyl - some hate it but I like it! Flavour is moderately malty with some butterscotch notes, some hops in the finish, but not very interesting. radiomgb (1749), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Jul 29, 2006 Draught at <a

Orange-amber in colour, lasting white coloured head, lacing around the top of the glass. The aroma is sweet, some pale malts, lightly sour, some floral hops. The flavour is quite sweet (borderline overpowering), pale malts, floral hops, some honey. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a moderate bitterness with some honey. Not to bad, a bit sweet though.
