Commercial Description:
Specially brewed for O'so Brewing Company's Grand Opening, celebrate the heat of the summer with a Belgian style Saison. Brewing using traditional farmhouse techniques brings out the spicy, fruity flavor overload that Saison is known for. What's a picnic without ants?

Nose is interesting mix of banana, bubble gum, lemon. Pours hazy orange golden, not much head. Flavor is earthy/leafy, tart lemony notes for a bit then sweet yeasty esters - banana. Lightly tart lingering flavors as well as some sweetness. A touch hoppy - citrus and earth. Not really much of a saison. Like a strong hoppy wheat. Which I actually kind of like.

22oz bottle from alagnak. Orangish cloudy golden with whispy white head. Full wheat, banana, orange creamsickle and some floral. A little sweet and vegital flavor going on. Orange, husky/chewy wheat, lemon...a little too sweet and could be vastly improved by being a touch ’drier’. Thanks Chris.

22 oz bottle generously sent to me by alagnak. pour is hazed yellow golden orange with a thick 2 inch white head. Some lazy carbonation bubbles float up to the surface. The head is quite lasting, when it eventually falls, nice spotty lacing is left behind. Really pretty in my Tank 7 Tulip. Aroma of tangerine citrus fruit, lemon peel and husky wheat grain. Nice fresh and balanced nose. Taste is the citrus fruit, along with a yeasty spice clove that I didn’t detect in the nose. The grain wheat is in the taste and carries from middle through to the finish. Nice transition of flavors. The aftertaste has some yeasty herbal medicinal thing that didn’t really fit with the rest of the beer. Palate is medium, nice active carbonation and a dry finish. Really nice hoppy Saison. Thanks again Chris.

22 oz bottle shared with Madvike. Aroma is a mix of tongs spices, yeast, and citrus fruits. Taste has a lot of the citrus and finishes sweet with a touch of alcohol. Something just seemed a bit off on this one for me.

22 oz bottle shared with MrPickles - Pours amber with a small white head. Smells of orange, clove, sweet wheat and booze. Taste is sweet and boozy with some light spice and citrus. It’s a tad too syrupy and just a tad cloying. Overall it’s decent, but a bit too sweet and not super flavorful.

Shared by Dan, thanks a lot. I really like this, its my kind of Saison. Pours a thick straw-golden color. Cannot see through it and has a small head. Aroma is very strong on the spicy and estery Saison yeast. Fruity aspects abound including lemon. Flavor has that great estery and fruity yeastiness all over. But it is easy drinking and has just a bit of sweetness at the end. The aftertaste has a lingering yeast spice character. I really liked this and want to drink it again.
22oz bomber, no date, Duvel sampling glass.

Hazy gold pour, thick white head, only temporary lace. Aroma has a bit of yeasty mustiness to it, oh, but the flavor. The first impression is an explosion of strawberry jam, well balanced by the dry cellar mustiness of the farmhouse yeast. Fruitiness fades, funk remains, somewhat wheaty at the end. Slightly more than medium bodied, still quite drinkable. Excellent beer.
