| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 27, 2009 I had this from a bottle at Union Jacks in Knoxville, TN.
Golden. Small, fast head. Caramel dominates aroma, I love it.
Flavor: CARAMEL with a grassy hop backing.
Finish is similar to the flavor.
Is this the same beer others are rating?
Caramel dominates what I had and I will be returning to this fantastic beer. Suttree (2732), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 27, 2009 Its from Argentina, and I cried for it. What? Trying to hard? Actually, I thought this was more weird than bad. Fruity, cardboard, Agave(?), medicine, maybe some cheap ginger ale. I dunno, odd... Rciesla (3645), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden body with a soda pop dissipating head. Grainy corny apple character with skunky paper notes, some bread and more apple. Not so good. tronraner (1916), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 26, 2009 Bottle, sample "generously" forced upon me by Suttree. Pours gold with whitish head. the aroma is fruity yeast, prickly pear, crackers, and some honey. The flavor is generic store-brand honey, graham crackers, bad tap water, and sweetish chemicals. Not very good. Bonster (100), Jersey Shore, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2009 Nice gold color. Light head, no lace. Interesting flavor, smoky. I’d have this one again. coldbrewky (730), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2009 Updated: Aug 13, 2009Bottle at the local with lunch. Flowery nose. No head with minimal carbonation. A rolling undulation of smokiness and vibrant flowering hops teeters around a pungently caramel sweet body. Refreshing in the heat. lithy (1720), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 6, 2009 Hazy golden with a white foam. Aroma is musty, lightly sweet and fruity, apples and pears. The taste though is downright dirty, foul malt, cardboard, trailing yeastiness. drpimento (828), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 23, 2009 dang, I wish these guys down here would remember that hops are part of the recipe too. This beer poured with a light head that mostly faded. No lace. Nice rich honey amber color. Aroma is butterscotchy malt. Some off chemical/infection flavors to go with the butterscotch. Thin body. Can’t finishi it. seems a bit boozy too, even if it really isn’t.
