Die Merkmale unseres Pilsbieres liegen in einer etwas geringeren Vollmundigkeit, damit das ausgeprägte Hopfenaroma besser zur Geltung kommt. Pils ist eine unserer beiden Hauptsorten.

Light hoppy and herbal aroma, some unpleasant fusels too. Pale yellow body with a medium sized white head. Sweet and malty flavor, light sugary, ends light hoppy.

Golden, bright. Big pale malt aroma with herbal hops - nice. Herbal and bitter with a spicy, dry finish. Quite a tasty example.

Draft @ former Brewery Kohlmann in Drugendorf. Nice bright golden color. Really tight, thick white head. Sweetish aroma is more helles than pils, but still clean and good. Quaffable palate and nice herbal and floral hops. Balanced, well-constructed, and highly drinkable.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, small head. Dry with clean rounded mouthfeel. A fair amount of grassy hops leads to a finish with long but never aggressive bitterness. A clean, streamlined pils.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with particles swimming around and a big foamy white head. Light-sweet, slightly grainy, cara-malty nose with lightly spicy, herbal hops. Bitter flavour with a soft malty sweetness, grainy and herbal hoppy taste, light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation; dry, slightly cara-malty and hop bitter finish. Well-crafted (25.02.08).

bottled. very pale shade of golden with a prominent uneven head. aroma of cake mix, passionfruit, pavlova and a little mustiness. very prickly with some lime and mineral flavour and then lots of grassy bitterness. reminded me a lot of weltenburger pils, just what i look for in a german pils

Quite a solid pilsner I purchased first up upon my visit to the Delirium Café, Brussels. I know, all the beer in the world to choose from and I select a pale lager. Well it was stinking hot outside and by now sparkling water was doing nothing to quash my thirst. Poured a clear yellow-gold, well charged, with a flabby, soapy white head that lasted and finely marked the glass. Dominant, dusty haystack nose with some underlying sour malt and sweet honey that showed nice balance. Mousy, grainy malts in the mouth, dry, pasty, well defined and firm. Body is light with plenty of bounce yet it sits heavy in the stomach. Sharp tangy sourness slips along the sides of the tongue with some earthy, musty hops shedding off just a gentle bitterness on the swallow before it dries out crisp and short in the finish. Good to the end. Simple, effective, balanced and clean. A nice Pilsener!!! (50cL, BB 16/07/06)
