The classic among the Austrian Pils beers. The Goldfassl Pils was, when its premiere was celebrated in 1977, Austria's first Pils. Since that time it ranks among the classics of its style. The Goldfassl Pils is a wonderful light, slim beer specialty with a pronounced hop note and a balanced, noble body. A beer for people with style - and one of the best Pils beers in the world.

Híg és nem túl testes és elég jellegtelen pils.Van benne a családra jellemző kesernyésség,de csak olyan "lightosan".

0,5L can. Pale golden color, minimum white head. Malty aroma. Flavor of malt with some hoppy tones. Aftertaste is bitter, but I want more.

300ml vom Fass at Ikarus Cafebar, Wien-Schwechat. Golden body under a filmy layer. Light and fresh floral aroma. Dry hopped flavour with underlying malty sweetness. Discreet bitter ending. More than average for a pilsener (05.12.2007).

Bottle. Golden colour with a nice white head. Aroma of malt and flowers. Flavour of malt and hops with some bitterness in the end.

On draft at Vienna Airport hotel. Golden yellow with a medium white head and average lacing. Nose of flowers, spices, and some hops. Slight bitterness, and some odd flavors. Somewhat watery. A very average pils.
