Cask-conditioned at Westbury-upon-Trym Conservative Club, Bristol (I was there as a guest!) A pleasant enough session bitter that contains some interest despite its low ABV. Of standard appearance but has aroma of hay with some supporting fruit. Flavour contains some hops with a good, dry aftertaste.

[Cask at Mount Pleasant Inn, Dawlish Warren] Amber, slight white head. Very smooth indeed. A straw, earth and farmyard taste reminiscent of Wadworth’s beers will not be to everyone’s liking, but there’s no denying that this packs in a lot of flavour considering the low ABV. A good bitterness in the finish makes this a light yet tasty and refreshing session ale - it grew on me the more I had.

Cask@Akkurat, Stockholm. Honeyish golden colour, small white creamy head. Aroma is honey, wood and some caramel wood. A bit hayish too as it warms up. Flavour is dry hayish hops with wooden hints. Aftertaste is sour fruits and grass. Easy-to-drink and not too bad.

Cask, Cockney Pub. Dark golden with a nice creamy head. Quite fruity, touch of egg, slightly harsh bitter finish. Soft and thin-ish.

Pint pulled at the Old Inn in Kilmington (Devon), a very clear amber with a frothy head. A slight fruity aroma (berries for me). Smooth through the mouth with a good bitter aftertaste. No strong flavouring, but clean and crisp.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A copper coloured beer with some fruity malt to the nose. The taste has good bitterness, and it feels quite rounded albeit on the dull side.

Cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm. Grassy, appley aroma. Light and stalky mouthfeel. Notes of grass, apples and vanilla. Harsh, stalky bitterness. Light bodied.
