Pale hazy yellow with a small white head. Slightly dusty, fruity aroma with a little citrus. Dry and fruity flavour with decent hops.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, grains, wood and some notes of cardboard. Flavour is cardboard, grains, wood and some hints of butter.

cask at the Carew Arms, pours gold with a fine lacey white head. The nose has light malt, cornflakes, dry grass and peaches and cream, then on the palate there is sweet buttery malt and prickly hops with a drying finish. A lovely golden bitter.

Cask (JDW’s, Ickenham)
Gold, healthy tight head. Tea aroma. Sweet and hoppy taste. Rather uninteresting, but easily drinkable.

Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Pale gold with creamy white head. Refreshing summer bitter with dry hoppy finish.

Cask @ some Soho pub, London.
Pours clear golden with a small creamy white film head. Okay duration. Mild aroma, light hoppiness. Okay mouthfeel, low carbonation. Flavour is rather weak, some biscuits, caramel and a weak hoppiness. Still, it has a rather long dry aftertaste.

cask @ the white horse. Straw colour, creamy head, good condition. Smelt a bit of sweaty feet and lemon. Flavours of hopps, grapefruit and not much else maybe a hint of wood if i try hard. Good session beer not nery interesting.

500ml bottle. Golden body under a filmy head. Mild floral hops to the nose. Brush of sweet malts and hops in flavour. Smooth bitter finish, but not enough to counter the sweetness. Light mouthfeel (24.02.2008).
