i don’t think this is exactly an ipa. but whatever the hell it is it’s damn good!!! heavy caramel and brandy taste its creamy and with some alcohol. it is nice and complex with the hops weaving in and out leaving their bitter trail and then fading to the car... andbra.... it looked crapped out when i poured it out, what with no head and the retarded way that it rolled in the glass. look i bought a 22 oz for $3.79 so don’t let it get out too far, this is an excellent brew. now do yourself a favor, find a warm day and a warm glass chill the bottle up and get you one better yet 3. sit out on the porch after you’re endomoprphins have flowed for an hour or so and look at the stars and play you’re favorite tunes... did i mention that this is good beer?

Bottle. Pours an orange-copper body with a medium creamy white head and creamy lace. Smells of grapefruit, pine, and biscuity sweet malt. Very fresh. Chewy, resiny hop flavour. Sweet tropical fruits with some faint toasted malts. Abrasive sweet malts are surprising for this style though. Solid.

Bottle
Appearance: very fine hazed amber with good creamy, slightly tanned top. This IPA left nice lacing.4-
Aroma: citric, clean set up. More of peach, mango fruits, sugary, sweet malts below. Juicy and fresh but bit shy for typical IPA.
Hoppy character grows on palate. Fruity and hoppy accents visible. Hops are there as it should be but this ale is more on sweeter side than most. Overall nice and drinkable brew.

A simple session ipa. Light gold color. Aroma has light, herbal hops, and the flavor is more light hops and some light malt sweetness.

Picked up a 22 oz bottle from the Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire, WI. Pours a clear dark amber with a thick off-white head. Fast dissolving and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma of caramel, strawberries, flowery hops and some roasted malt. Taste is high sweet with characters of caramel, grass, and oranges. Finish has some hop bite but just barely to fit in an IPA catagory.

Copper color with no head. Solid aroma of bread. More what I would expect of a Belgian Ale, not an IPA. Piney hops dominate the taste, with a dry malt base. Not overly complex, but nice and drinkable.

22oz bottle-pours a foamy light tan head and copper color. Aroma is lots of medium hops-bitter and equal medium malt-toffee, although not quite balanced, alcohol. Taste is lots of medium hops-bitter and balanced with medium malt-toffee. Taste is better than aroma. OK carbonation.

Looks great, has a murky orange and peach colored body with a nice layer of large-bubbles foam on top, leaves pretty good lacing. Nose of copper metallic sweaty hops with a significant dose of mold. Almost some brett-like smells but they smell out of place, inadvertent and a bit on the soggy side. Initial taste is some overripe oranges with some metallic, old grainy hops. Bitterness is light, more sweet than anything, and just appears poorly made. The weizen bock and sahti styles I had first from Otter Creek were so good, this one is a pretty big disappointment.
