Pours with a beige two-fingered head that fades leaving some lace. Clear deep amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Starts sweet and hoppy finishes with a good balance of hops and malt, leaves a slight bitter aftertaste. Nice to have an amber that has some malt in it and not loaded with hops. $1.55 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, Ma.

Bottle, 7 months old. Pours dark amber, good head, perfectly clear. Smells great, wort, floral hop, sweet citrus. Taste is smooth, malt and hops in balance neither overpowering. Good body. This is a tasty session ale that is well made and pleasing that leans towards British rather than American (i.e., Cascades) hopping.

Dark golden body with a bit of a tan sudsy head. Mostly sweet malty aroma a bit of floral hops in the background. Sweet malty flavors have a decent balance. Mild bitter finish. Nice medium body mouth feel. Not bad but could use some more hop flavor.

Dark red-orange, no head. Very clear. Big caramel malt aroma. Flavor also has nice caramel malt smothness with a slightly spicy (nutmeg?) and mildly fruity middle. Very clean, yet nothing spectacular.

Good aroma; combo of malt and hops. Reddish/Copper color. Relatively low carbonation. Good/average hop flavor, but not really too bitter. An enjoyable beer overall.
