Aroma is floral, piney.
Taste is bitter resinous piney hops with enough malt to balance the taste. Good beer overall. Hopheads will not rejoice. I like it. Price was about $1.55 US for a 12 ounce bottle. Tessic (480), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 8, 2008 This ale poured a nice rich copper colour with a quick lived white rocky head. To the nose there is scents of malt, bread, hopps (slightly piney) and a little citrus. First taste was smooth with a good bout of hoppy bitterness and a little caramel. Palate is nothing but bitter hopps, but not overbearing. 45thstbrewer (94), Conowingo, Maryland, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Draught Copper colour indeed, with a rim of yellow for head. Ambrée malts, bit sweet-caramelly smelling. Bitterish with a spicy overlay over the maltsweetness, that remains nearly hidden. Bit burning MF, a little slick and medium body. OK ale, nothing adventurous. durhambeer (1232), Durham, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Sampled on draft and via the bottle and was better on draft. A nice copper color to it topped with a good head which lelf a nice amount of lacing. Taste was a refreshing with sweet spiced flavor. Slightly hoppy bitter notes at the end with a clean finish. A touch fruity but not too much. Perhaps a little thin on the mouthfeel. A good overall balance to this beer and something I’d look forward to having again.
