A small head on this filtered copper colored ale. Smells of something burning and pumpkin seeds. tastes like the same, but more mellow. No major aftertaste, but something is lingerin’... OK beer

12oz pour to a nice fluffy head and a beautiful "Copper" color. Nose is all malt sweetness but the 1st sip is drier than expected. Nice deep malt chewiness but not too sweet with some nice hop bite in the background. Very thick + complex beer for the color and overall appearance. The 5.4 abv is surprising too. With all that malt flavor you would think the abv would be higher. Nice beer with some sausage on the grill.

12 oz bottle-Otter Creek Sampler from Mount Laurel, NJ-Copper coloring, thick malty aroma with a smooth malt flavoring. Somewhat of a thick after taste which leaves the palate something to desired. After taste builds up slowly but overall finishes well

12 fl. oz bottle. Light copper colour. Clear. Notes of gray. Tall light beige head that clings to the glass. Clean münchener malt aroma with ripe apples. Rich malty flavours with nuts and plums. Some caramel. Neutral hops, but hop bitterness lasts into the finish. Dry aftertaste even though the beer is rich and somewhat thick.

I tried Copper Ale twice in the past week and found it a sub-par Amber Ale. Wet cardboard, caramel malt, thin body and metallic/medicinal aftertaste. My palate and the flavors of this Otter Creek offering were not amicable.

Big offwhite slightly coarse head. Amber body. Sweetish medicinal caramel aroma of dry straw and apples. Dry-sweet medicinal caramel taste, slightly watery. Fades into bitterish medicinal caramel. Quite good. (0.355l bottle.)

Nice amber. Not too heavy in the taste department, though. Pour was a medium amber with a thin tan head. Aroma was malt and soap. Taste was like a heavily carbonated iced tea. Nice and dry in the finish with a nice balance of malt and hops. Hops stay in the background for a slightly bitter aftertaste. Nice but not ground breaking or even ground tremoring.
