Jun 2, 2007 New brew in town. Toasty malts with a mild toasted bread accent and a very faint fruity aroma. The body is actually a copperish color and holds a fairly lasting, thumb thick, white head. Light malt accented fore. Fairly strong hop presence considering what I was expecting. Not exactly a flavor bomb, but it is clean and well balanced with a light malt base and appropriate hopping. Has a bit of a toasted accent in the finish. Decent brew.

May 22, 2007 The color was golden/brown. The head was thin, fizzy, and off white. The aroma had a very metalic hoppiness about it. The flavor was a very tiny amount of roast and metalic hops. The palate was thin and the finish, abrupt.

May 22, 2007 I had this one for a little while before I drank it so it may have gone bad, or it may have just been bad to begin with. It poured a very thin coppery amber with a thick frothy off white head. Well carbonated. The aroma smelled sour, not like bretty but more like fermented/rotten malt. The flavor was sour in the same way, had some malt background, and showed a mild hop backbone. The palate was thin and crisp. Overall, I did not enjoy this beer.

May 8, 2007 Bottle - I really enjoyed this beer. Had a great pour with a thick lasting white head. Great malty aroma with a yeasty note. The flavor was slightly roasty, malty with a mild bitter finish. I found it to be very good.

Apr 30, 2007 Growler. Deep copper color, small tan head. The nose is both malty and hoppy, as is the flavor; I did pick up on some copper flavor too, however...weird. Well-balanced and extremely drinkable, making it enjoyable.

Apr 9, 2007 12 oz bottle. Light white head that quickly vanishes, and a deep amber color similar to Killians. In fact it’s Killians I would compare this to, as it does have a distinct flavor not found in most ambers Label says it has a recipe of several malts and hops, and it shows. Very nice beer.

Mar 31, 2007 Fantastic beer. When ever stuck in a bar without taps I head for the otter creek. For some reason we have it in quantity here. So I switch it up. Otter creek, Aviator red or Killians. Thats the best you can do unless you like yellow water. Coors, budlight and the rest. Had it in syracuse on tap and sort of fell in love for the first time.
