[bottle 12/27/05] Pours a copper color, indeed. Medium carbonation. Decent malt, nice bitter finish. Overall, not too bad.

The Copper Ale pours a medium amber color with a white head. Fair lacing over a clear body. Aroma’s of toasted/roasted malts and perfume hops, as well as soap and apple. Initial flavor is light bitter with a sweet finish that lasts and lasts. Light and oily on the palate with fizzy carbonation. Metallic feel left over. Bottled on 10/4/05.

(draft @ MacGregor’s - Henrietta, NY) Copper color with a thin white head. Aroma has a lot of hops in it, but not an obnoxious amount. Some malt also present in the aroma. The taste begins sweet and malty with a smooth malt middle and a nice hop finish. Very smooth and well blended.

As many american ales go this one is on par, it’s slightly overhopped to carry through unto the finish. However not over hopped enough to kill any flavor of malt whatsoever. Poors clear with a white head that thins out quickly. Decient body and palate.

malty smeling, copper red color, thin white quickly disappearing head, malty sweet flavor, not an untasty little beer at all.

12oz bottle-pours a full, rocky offwhite head with clear copper color. Aroma is hops, malt, caramel. Taste is initially creamy malt. Following is a slightly edgy, bitter hop which is nice. Although the bitterness carries too long in the aftertaste too. Medium body. Dated 11/28/05, best by or bottled on??
