Taste - well, I just flat out like it a lot, being rather like an amber ale with some hoppy bitterness to finish. Good, solid mouthfeel, too. Purchased on a whim in Astoria, Oregon. A fine, fine beer. KAggie97 (2469), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours a lush, almost flawless amber with a nice head of white. Aroma is stinging bits of isopryl-soaked leaves and a touch of faint sour fruit. Flavor is melon leaves and a touch of stale fruit juice. Average mouthfeel. Not sure what the goal was with this beer but whatever it was, it was not achieved. A misguided mess. bu11zeye (5530), Frisco, Texas, USA

Aroma of nuts, toasted grain, and wet hay. Flavor of nuts, grass, caramel malt, and toasted grain. ben4321 (1034), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Pours with a slightly hazed copper body and a rocky, off-white head that leaves decent lace. Aroma is metallic and bready with some honey, spice and hop bitterness. Taste is bitter up front with some spiced bread dough and a metallic finish. Lively carbonation and a dryish finish. brewski519 (419), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Copper color pour with a medium white head. Aroma of floral hops, malt and caramel. Weak taste of malt and toffee.. a bit on the watery side but certainly goes down easy. Okay brew - not the best but certainly not the worst I have had.
