| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 7, 2005 Nice copper color with average bottle pour head. Malty on the nose. Nice malt to hop balance. Slight toasty/nutty flavor. Clean finish. VA Homebrewer (525), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2005 Deep copper color, moderate head. Crystal malt aromas with earthy/spicy hops hiding. Deep, full malt flavor with just enough hops to balance - again earthy and mildly spicy. Nice mouthfeel. Good session beer. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 29, 2005 Pours copper as the name suggests. Less hops than I expected on the aroma of malts. White head that hangs around a bit. Aroma is mostly citrus and malts. Flavor is dry but sweet with some citrus on the back. A light brew with a little bit of bite. Not to bad all in all. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2005 Updated: Apr 12, 20052004 bottle at Julio’s Spring Beer Fest, 4/02/05. Bright orange-rust-and-copper body, with a small white head, moderate retention. Aroma of lightly sweet vienna and/or pils malt, slight graininess, a bit of oranges and tangerines. Flavor is lightly dry, yet there is a moderately sweet, fruit and yeast mix, with some honey. A bit of metallic dryness, medium to medium-light body, rather thin on the end, but not terribly watery. A bit too much carbonation. Marmalade on English muffins? Pailhead (2609), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2005 Bottle: Nutty and tootsie roll aroma. Pours a dark transparent copper with an off-white head that has a little staying power. Nutty up front with a caramel, tootsie rol, and light bitterness in thel finish. Tastes pretty much the way it smells. swirl (267), collingswood, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 27, 2005 A nice light straw color woth a full head that offers a light floral aroma with a touch of honey. The taste is quite refreshing. Not a bad beer but not anything exciting enough for me to keep it around. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA

Alaskan Amber/Odell’s 90 Schilling are still my favorites but this is an excellent beer. Smooth and drinkable. Good malt and hops, Citrus hint makes this a very tasty beer. I’m very excited in sampling the rest of the variety that Otter Creek/Wolavers has to offer.
