On tap at Bettys. Pours a semi-opaque copper with a thin white head. Some hop and fruit in the nose, but mostly malt. Balanced flavor of hop and malt. Decent.

12oz bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a slightly hazy dark copper color with a thick and pillowly slightly off-white head that settles very rapidly but does slightly lace the glass. Aroma is wet hay, honey, some hints of pine, raisins, floral hops. Flavor is malty and slightly hoppy with notes of yeast, bread, some hints of honey, and some barnyard funkiness. Generally light body with a slight bitter hop finish.

Solid autumn seasonal ale. Disagree that it’s an ’altblier’ it’s a malty hoppy amber with some citrus notes. decent beer

Bottle. Odd metallic nose, tart and unpleasant. Yellow-orange, clear with a thin head. Mostly bland with a fruity tartness. Not good.

355 ml bottle. 10/20/2008 lot#2380 3 . my dad picked this up for my on his recent trip to vermont. pours copper with a small white head and minimal carbonation. aromas of lightly roasted malts, caramel, hops. flavour is similar to the aroma but a touch thin. this would be a good intro to craft beer. id buy this if it was local.
