Sorry about the guy below me...hmmmmmwell anyway, I disagree. I liked this one more than he did. Beautiful dark color, off white head that leaves a nice lace on the pint. Very little carbonation..I like that a lot, makes it very enjoyable. You can really taste the beer. malty...nice beer, good job otter creek.

22 oz bottle, via BA BeerBeing. Pours a clear reddish brown colored body under a small fizzy off-white head that faded to a thin covering. Aroma is a combo of grainy malts, spices, light caramel, some toffee, and light alcohol. Spices are cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice like. Flavor is quite odd. Not enough malt to make an impact, but not enough spices either. Just kinda bland and generic up front with some cinnamon and nutmeg late in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, but the texture is rather watery. The carbonation is prickly and fizzy, par for the course with Otter Creek. Overall, this just didn’t do it for me. Kind of a half assed effort.
