Pours a two finger white head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Cloudy light amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Light floral nose. Flavor has hints of sweetness, hops are at the finish with a lingering bitter aftertaste. $3.99 for a 22oz bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT.

Tap at Shorty’s. Very pale golden beer with a white head. The aroma is nice and fresh. Crisp pale malt with just a touch of sulfur. The flavour is quite a let-down though. Pale malts with a touch of light soapiness and a fairly bland sweetness. It doesn’t really have the bright punchiness that usually typifies this style. Sort of a nutty maltiness and the hops is a little bit minerally. Meh.

Pours gold with a large white head. Smells of sweet malt, earthy. Tastes dry and earthy with a tea like finish.

[From Bomber] Faint floral on the nose with hints of citrus as well. Maybe a little damp earth smell also. Very pale straw color. Long lasting head. It’s difficult for me to get much from this one. It’s vaguely sweet, with a sort of roasted/nutty--walnut?--note alongside. The finish is hoppy. I like this beer and for $3.50, it’s ok, but not something you should rush out to get.

Draft from blind tiger. Not really an alt, but more like a helles lager with a bit of bitter hops. Poured gold. Was pretty good.

Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Smells vaguely pilsner-esque. Sweet cracker malt with a bit of noble hop spiciness. The flavor has both of those with light touches of honey and grass. Nicely dry finish leaves you wanting more. Nothing to write home about but a nice thirst quencher. Would be better suited for six packs than bombers.

Moderate malt with a light amount of yeast in the aroma. Clear pale golden color with a large white head. Mild sweetness late in the beginning getting slightly bitter in the finish.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of corn, pale malts, and light hops. Poured yellow/gold in color with a medium-sized, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Slightly hazy. Slightly sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of pale malts, corn, and bitter hops. Light body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Boring, pale malt and hop finish. A very boring, but fresh and crisp, beer.
