Flavor was bready, corn sugar, some light spices, mixed citrus and malty. Really not too great. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA Feb 27, 2008 Not a good tripel or a good beer from otter creek. One of the weakest of their trip around the world. This is a place I would probably not go to again. Goodgrief (1144), Middletown, Delaware, USA Feb 16, 2008 Nov. 2006 - The guy at the beer store recommended this to me...probably because he was trying to get rid of them. Smells like white grape juice and tastes like white grape juice. Honestly, there was very little else going on in this one. You almost could have convinced me it was a cider. Not good at all. blklab2007 (932), Connecticut, USA Jan 5, 2008 bomber poured into a trappist glass is a light golden in color with a nice initial carbination fading off quickly leaving a light layer of white foam on the surface. aroma has a sweet nose, grain, pear, yeast, clove, and nutmeg. mouth feel is on the light side but does have a frothy thickness, some spice bite wrapped up with yeast flavors, moves to finish with grain and some alcohol bite. definitely has plenty of sweetness and became more cloying as it warmed up a bit. so not really in line for style. lacking the malt profile and very little hops, finish is sweet and not dry. good news is it is not a total flop and i give credit they can put this together for 3$ or so a bomber. rocbyter (902), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Nov 21, 2007 Slightly spicy grape and apple aroma. Clear golden color with a small white head. Sweet and a little tart taste mellowing in the finish. Creamy palate with a mild alcohol burn at the end.
