Commercial Description:
The Otter Creek flows through our hometown of Middlebury. Elderberries grow wild on its banks, providing the inspiration to flavor this refreshing Summer ale with hints of elderberries and blueberries. Enjoy!

Pours copper/amber with a thin white head. Smells of berries. Tastes of berries with some caramel hints on the finish.

12oz bottle. Poured a light amber color with a white head and decent lace. The smell is obviously blueberries but also elderberries. The taste is also of blueberries and elderberries. Not bitter at all. Medium mouthfeel and light carbonation. Drinkable, but nothing special.

This beer is brewed with wheat malt barley with blueberry and mullenberry flavor added to it. Once, you open the bottle, it has a very sweet scent. it smells like blueberry and mullenberry muffins altogether. The best fruit flavored beer I’ve ever tasted.

translucent golden body with a small bubbly white head. leaves a little lacing behind. smells of berries, citrus and wheat. tastes of blueberries, wheat, lemon and orange. very very carbonated and the flavors are a bit watered down and understated. left a little to be desired.

pretty good stuff had on tap, was surprised by the failry strong blueberry taste. Is a good change of pace beer, but i don’t think i’d want more then one of these at a time.

Very good fruit beer, strong berry aroma, but added more of a spiciness rather than fruitiness to the flavor. Bottle was old (2004) but beer held up surprisingly well for a standard strength ale.

Lightly hazed blonde with a white head. Barely any aroma. Nice crisp malt with faint blueberry notes. Medium bodied. Boring. Mondiale 2005.

Very light and fruity. A nice refreshing summer beer. Not a lot going for it as far as complexity and a little on the thin side but the blueberries and elderberries are really a nice touch. This was pretty much the official beer of our Coventry trip last summer for some reason.
