Commercial Description:
Mud Bock Spring Ale makes its appearance with the spring thaw. The main feature of this full bodied beer is a broad and deep malt flavor. While sweeter than our other beers, a wine-like character provides balance in the flavor profile. Has fruity, herbal and floral notes in the aroma. Available February to May

This is the best beer by far from this brewer. I had the winters Ale not to long ago and it was, so bitter that I thought the beer had spoiled.

Very easy to drink. On tap in Ohio, great head. A bit of a malt flavor, I am sorry it’s only seasonal.

This beer has a dark caramel like aroma. This is Otter Creek’s version of Guiness. Enuff Said.

Overall I enjoyed this beer. I found no wine-like character though.

red-brown colour, roasty coffe aroma, hazelnut flavor, remembers me more to a porter than a bock (btw, bock is not an ale-style ?!)

Nice deep brown color - though little head. Medium carbonation. Sweet aroma, with a hint of hop spice. Flavor is nutty, roasty, and laced with a tinge of spicy hops. Body is a bit on the thin side, which is just about the only drawback.
