From bottle. Nice sweet toffee-biscuit aroma, light caramel malt and neutral fruity character. Kinda buttery, too. Amber-orange clear with thin off-white foamy head. Soft watery body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet with biscuit and toffee, light caramel and some buttery character. Neutral fruity taste, too. Very little hops to speak of, though there is a bit of nutty-sweet bitter in the finish. A bit sweet perhaps, but easy drinking. Decent but a bit ho-hum.

(Bottle). Rather mild malty aroma. Orange amber color; little or no head. Flavor very toasty malt, and a touch sweet. Pleasant, not outstanding.

Clear, dark copperish-orange color. Aroma is very malty and some grains. Flavor has some sweetness and malty flavors are everywhere. could be better...but not horrible either.

Light copper with medium head. Lots of toasty malts in the aroma. Starts with the same toast, and has a sharpness that literally reminds me of chewing on leaves; in an OK way. Drinkable and fairly smooth, but finishes a bit of a mess.

Not too bad in my opinion. The pour was a clear but darker orange. Little head. The flavor is hops, malt, and some grainy wheat. Overall not the bad. It was smooth and easy to drink.

12 oz. bottle - thanks to goldtwins for the bonus brew; clear and dark orange with thin head; watery, thin texture; aromas of stale grains and mild malts; basic and standard offering and though i drank it in the spring on the other side of the country, it was nice to be reminded of those childhood fall days in VT

bonus bottle from goldtwins. crystal clear coppery color with a foam like off white head. caramel grainy aroma with notes of grass and nondescript spiciness. the flavor is pretty much the same... woody and grassy with a dry spiced finish. rather watered down. medium bodied. carbonation helps it get a bit creamier and fuller. not really bad, just not a strong effort.
