Bottle pours a clear amber with a thin head. I’m not sure if I just got a bad bottle but I’m not a fan of the aroma or flavor. Aroma is strange and hard to describe. I can faintly make out some malts. Flavor is odd, slightly metallic with a weird aftertaste. Based on some of the other ratings here I’d have to believe I got a bad bottle. I’d like to try it again just to see.

Pours a transparent copper bronze with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of slightly toasted grainy pale malts and noble hops. Body starts lightly sweet and toasty caramely with some mild bittering hops before a smooth, crisp finish. A decent and drinkable Oktoberfest.

*didnt like wouldnt buy* aroma: oh it stinks. bad leather shoes and spoiled stew. app: it stinks. flavor: it stinks, maybe it was not a good idea to let otters play in the water used to brew.. i heard they can be dirty. taste is not bad.. not good, the hops are the only nice part. palate: it smells bad. a bit thin. Bottle from goldtwins. Clear gold color with almost no head. Toasted malt aroma with a little nuttiness. The flavor is similar with toast, nut, and a light crisp finish. I did get an off flavor in the finish that was a little vegetal? Still drinkable though.

12 oz bottle, via goldtwins. Pours a clear dark gold body with a small fizzy light beige head, minimal lacing. The nose is husky toasted grains with a touch of sweet Munich malt. Minimal to no hops. There’s minimal to no sweetness to the flavor, just lots of dry toasted cereal grains with a very light bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied and dry with moderate fizzy prickly carbonation. Overall, a less than average O-fest.
