| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 6, 2008 Bottle pours a clear amber with a thin head. I’m not sure if I just got a bad bottle but I’m not a fan of the aroma or flavor. Aroma is strange and hard to describe. I can faintly make out some malts. Flavor is odd, slightly metallic with a weird aftertaste. Based on some of the other ratings here I’d have to believe I got a bad bottle. I’d like to try it again just to see. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Bottle from goldtwins. Clear gold color with almost no head. Toasted malt aroma with a little nuttiness. The flavor is similar with toast, nut, and a light crisp finish. I did get an off flavor in the finish that was a little vegetal? Still drinkable though. kramer (2465), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2008 12 oz bottle, via goldtwins. Pours a clear dark gold body with a small fizzy light beige head, minimal lacing. The nose is husky toasted grains with a touch of sweet Munich malt. Minimal to no hops. There’s minimal to no sweetness to the flavor, just lots of dry toasted cereal grains with a very light bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied and dry with moderate fizzy prickly carbonation. Overall, a less than average O-fest.
