Commercial Description:
Brewed with Hallertau and Tettnang hops to balance its clean, malty sweetness, it's the perfect brew for a crisp Autumn day. Available from September to November.

Pours a decent golden amber orange with a medium creamy offwhite creamy head. The aroma is strange, earthy maybe, definitely sweet, smoky maybe, grainy, hard to describe (oh, and bad). Dunno, somethings going on though. Tastes moderately sweet, not too much depth or character, some sweet corn and grain, macro-ish. Crisp in the mouth and goes down fairly easy. Its just not too hot.

This is an ale as made mention on the bottle. I thought it was decent, a little sweetness, with a little more hoppiness than usual. It does have an earthy quality to it. I’d drink it again, but I don’t know if I would go out of my way to drink it.

Bottle. As the brewer said during the tasting, this is an unusual Oktoberfest since it’s an ale, not a lager, but the taste is close to most Oktobers. Sweet malts, crisp finish, and a touch of spice. There is a bit more of a hops lean than with many beers of the style, but not enough to really set this one apart. Despite the different brewing style, it’s not a memorable fest, nor a bad one.

Decent, especially in apperance but overall a bit thin and light bodied, not quite as satisfying as I would hope but certainly drinkable.

The color was light borwn/oragne. The head was creamy, off-white, and laced a little. The aroma was some sweet malt. The aroma was weak for the most part, it kindof reminded me of canned pears. The flavor was coppery/bitter in the back of the mouth. The flavor was just lacking all around. The palate was lively. The finish was that coppery bitterness.

12 oz bottle. Light amber in color. Aroma is muted, some toasted malt and light caramel. Taste is light bodied, toasted caramel with some grainyness, some metallic notes in the finish. not very good.

Overall, there is something not right about this beer, it gives off a wet straw like flavor. nutty maltiness with its taste but unappealing the rest feels uninspired with skunky flavor.
