copper appearance, more hoppy than malty aroma. flavor starts off malty, then stronger hoppy taste before finishing bitterly. not much like a traditional oktoberfest

Another beer of the month club. This one is malty and clean. Just like it should beer. Not much else to talk about.

Gift from Aurelius - beer of the month club leftover - 12 oz bottle. Light copper pour - rather translucent, thin, traliing white head with a brief trail of lacing. Fresh lake water aroma with hints of caramel. Ripening vegetable flavor with hints of caramel and chocolate. Brief nuttiness as well. Mouthfeel is a tad tinny. Brief back end bitterness kicks it up a point. Would be decent for session purposes.

(Bottled on 8/8/06 from Glen Beverage (NH)) Pours clear amber with about one finger of biscuit head. Weak aroma of toasted caramel. Some sloppy lacing. Mouthfeel a little thin, a little prickly, fairly smooth. Flavor of weak toasted caramel with a mildly bitter finish. Mediocre at best. They call this an "Autumn Ale" so probably not really an Oktoberfest.

12oz bottle pours golden amber with a short white head that fades pretty quickly to a film. Good aroma of toasted malts, caramel and toffee. Flavor is caramel, toffee, toasted malts, and light spice. Medium body with a fair amount of carbonation. I found this pretty drinkable and adequate for the style..

12 oz bottle via Malt of The earth beer club. Pours a clear copper color with an average sixe head. Subtle nose, some caramel malt, vanilla and mild hops detected. That is pretty much how it tastes, Nice finish, but aftertaste is grainy and a bit flat and cardboardy. Aftertaste almost ruins it...

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours amber\gold with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts and spices. The flavor is weak, sweet malts, spices, and thin. Nothing good here.
