Yeah it fits the style - somewhat malty and crisp, but weak flavor and pretty one dimensional.

From a bottle poured a dark copper color with a large white head. Malty flavor with a quick finish.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Light amber with a decent foamy, white head. Okay head retention. Aroma: Wood, light roasted notes, and a bit of toast. Taste: Bittering hops and a pretty strong metallic note. Very crisp but unbalanced on the hop side. Light toast notes lurk behind all the hops. This isn’t much of a Marzen. Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a medium-light, slightly dry mouthfeel. Medium, bitter finish. Overall: Another mediocre attempt at an Oktoberfest from a brewery that is capable of much better. Definitely skip this one.

Nice looking, copper, heavy lacing. Very grassy, musty aroma. Palate is tingly, has a metallic taste, a little malty. Okay.

Pours light amber with a nice sized off white head. Aroma is light malts with a hint of caramel and earthiness. Flavor is also light malts, with hints of caramel and a very slight bitterness. Not bad.

Has a clear amber golden color. Aroma is mostly of malts with hints of yeast and very little hops. Taste is basically pretty much the same with hints of orange. Hardly any aftertaste. Nothing special.

Very subtle in all categories - flavor, aroma, and lighter in appearance. This is in the Octoberfest style, but too light for me.

Not good. Clear amber with a small head. Aroma of, well nothing. Taste is weak and watery, a bit of malt. Finish is watery thin. I confess, not my favorite style but even so, this is below average.
