12oz screw-top bottle from the local Hannaford. Pours a hazy amber-brown with virtually no head. Smells fruity and malty, with a hint of hops. Tastes initially fruity and slightly hoppy, then has a caramel-toffee flavor. Medium to light in body with moderate carbonation. A fairly easy drinker, a decent American amber...

The Otter Creek rep was at Max’s on Broadway in Baltimore and was pouring free samples of this stuff. Fairly light yellow orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma was a bit malty. This beer was pretty fresh and had a nice crisp note to it. Pretty decent Marzen, but nothing to write home about.

[2104-20090419] 12floz bottle. Grainy motor oil cardboard aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Weird leaves graininess in the flavour with weird notes of toasted cardboard. Medium body. Fair.

2009-04-19. orange amber body with a small white head. tangy aroma, hops and dry malt. Flavour is a touch oxidized with some stale notes over otherwise pleasant dry malt and toasty notes. Meh, allowing for the fact that it is likely a step better fresher its still pleasantly average. Bottle from Premier Gourmet

Bottle. Simple with some malt sweetness. A hint of roast and spice with some mossy undertones. Not great. Tap: Still simple. Not any bad flavors but does still have this green lingering flavor.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Sweet and malty with a light nuttiness. Lagered notes and some light corn, and an earthy bitterness. eh.

I was at a wedding in Vermont and it was this or Coors Light (gag me) so I drank a metric shitload of this stuff. It’s not bad, but far from good. Golden-amber color with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt and muted hops, some earthiness. Typical Oktoberfest malt character and noticeable hops. Palate is a little watery. An easy choice if it’s this or Coors, but not such an easy choice if good (or even average) beers are available.

Poured a clear golden/amber with an average head. Some malt sweetness up front and then a slight bitterness. An Ok brew, nothing special.
