Taste of burnt malt, sourness with a bad aftertaste. Someone left the malt on the stove too long with this one. thornecb (1812), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

Aroma is of sweet malts, slight citrus/floral hops. Taste is smooth and well balanced, sweet malts blend with some floral hops that leaves a little lingering bitterness. Not bad mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA

Some citrus and herbal hop aroma. Nice lacing. Easy bitterness matched by slight sweetness. A bit musty. Not bad, but would not go out of the way for it. noncaloric (628), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Updated: Sep 10, 2008Summary: India pale marzen. Aroma: Sweet malts, citrus and floral hops. Appearance: Pale for a marzen, as yellow as it is orange. Scant off-white head, temporary, spotty lacing. Flavor: Begins smooth and malty, finishes with grapefrut and flowers. The malty and hoppy elements elements don’t blend well here: there’s an edge between them that’s a little metallic, and as the beer warms, the hops takes over. afireinside96 (839), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA

Very light amber topped by a minimal amount of foam that is gone before you realize it. Smells very sweet and syrupy, faintly of peaches. Definitely not brewed to style, taste is sweet and fruity, maybe red grapes and apple. Weird.
