The pour is orange, with a medium white head of bubbles. The aroma is very slight. The flavor is roasty caramel malts. The beer is a bit think and pretty highly carbonated. There is a touch of an aftertaste. An OK Oktoberfest. But there are many better.

Thought the aroma was outstanding - could not place the spices but I kept thinking of fall and/or pumpkin pie. That was the hilight; taste was bitter throughout with soething odd at end.

Bottle. Pours clear copper with an average off-white head. Aromas of malts and caramels with mild yeast and nuts. Taste is a very smooth combination of sweet malts and caramels mixed with grain bitterness and hints of nuts and yeast. Overall tends to be mildly bitter. Not as spicy as other Oktoberfest beers, but in this case I believe that is a good thing as it also for the malts to come through.

Weak medicinal gauze smell. Orange copper in color with a nice thick head. Mild malty taste with a definite piney hoppy aftertaste. Overall it’s average... nothing too exciting but it is drinkable.

( 12oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours clear amber with nice lacing. Nose is corn, funky socks. Tastes the same, unsweet, burnt toast with a lager like biting finish. Odd aftertaste that isn’t great.

Clear amber with a fleeting white head. Very mild nutty malt, caramel aroma. Medium body. Leafy hop flavor with very mild lightly sweet caramel. Weak.

Tap at Bukowski’s: Deep copper pour with good clarity and a tan film that laces a bit. Grainy breadcrust aroma- some nutty notes as well- fairly clean. Light body with a grainy flavor. Fairly clean with a husky character ad very mild bitterness (if any discernible hop character). Typical one dimensional American take on a German lager. Should be spicier.

Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Decent lacing. Not much aroma. Some malts, caramel-mostly grain. Flavor of grain, malt , and a bitter ending. Overall, average.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is clear, copper colored, with a low head. The smell is light malts, caramel, and grains. The taste is very grainy, light unfermented wort, and malty sweet.
