Jun 30, 2009 Sample at AleFest Columbus (06/27/09): Pours dark brownish-black with a thin light brown head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing. Light roasted malt and nuts in the nose. Medium, clean body with flavors of mild coffee, roasted malt and caramel. The finish is dry and roasty with a light coffee aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

May 3, 2009 Butters Big Blowout - Poors a dark black with a small tan head. Roasted malt, caramel, chocolate. Similar taste, really smooth and creamy with some smoke. Very smooth. Pretty good stout. Jah mon!

May 3, 2009 Bottle shared at Butter’s Big Cellar Blowout. Pours a near black with wispy tan head and some lacing. Creamy milk chocolate and roast malt aroma is a little sweet and a little nutty. Very similar flavors. I’d say it was a sweet stout. Medium body and almost watery. Very cool name.
