Pours a two finger tan head that fades slowly, leaving a good lace. Almost black, faint mahogany highlights. Good carbonation and heavy bodied. Chocolate nose. Flavor is sweet chocolate and brown sugar. Nice Jamaican stout. 22oz bottle part of 3-pack $12.99 from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT

Bomber. Part of Otter Creek’s World Tour limited releases. Rich, creamy and smooth stout. One of the best stouts I’ve ever had.

22 oz’er -- This beer had me at "hello" -- deep, black and rich with a powerful, big tan head. With a rich and raw aroma, this beer delivers a big, roasty flavor, full of dark chocolate and cream. Delicious stout. (#3700, 10/18/2009)

Bottle: Pours a dark brown to black with a big tan head. Aroma, roaasted notes, herbal hops, earthy notes as well, and some fruits. Flavor, fruits, coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, yeast and bready notes, with an earthy bitterness on the finish. Medium body with a medium carbonation, really nice. I need to drink more foreign stouts, I usually enjoy them.

Bomber mon. But can one really channel Marley from Vermont? Nice dark, light brown head, nice typical roasted aroma, very full bodied, not watery at all... Yah mon, nicely done. Not as smokey as their Stovetop porter, but very full, creamy, and flavorful. In other words, more like Jimmy Cliff than Bob M.

Otter Creek Otter Mon is a black beer with a foamy beige head. Both the beer and the head have a vermilion glint. The head settles down to a coffee-colored dense film that leaves a thick foam on the glass. Roasty malt dominates the aroma. Coffee, rum, nuts, grass and spice join it. There is a touch of sweetness to the aroma. It is full bodied, but the mouthfeel lightens considerably at the end of the sip. It’s bubbly and the finish is a touch acidic. Coffee and roasted malt dominate the flavor, but it’s well balanced with the hops. There are notes of tobacco and molasses. The aftertaste is all hops... a little green. There is something a little metallic or salty in the mix. Nothing sissyish about this stout, but it’s pretty smooth drinking. Irie, mon!

22 oz. Bomber - Creamy chocolate aroma. Black color. The only thing visually missing is a lasting head. This stout is creamy with hints of coffee, spice and alcohol. I like the burn effect from the cane sugar. It’s a nice flavor that really makes this beer stand out.
