halfonit (423), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA Oct 31, 2009 Appearance is a slightly cloudy golden color. Aroma seems to be mainly of malts, citrus, yeast, and fruity hops. Taste is a little different. It’s full of citrus and malts, with some yeast and spices. Has a bitter sweet aftertaste. Not too bad. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Aug 15, 2009 Bottle sample at Noogfest High 5. Poured golden with a off-white head. Aromas of yeast, dough, apples, and cashew. The flavor found much the same with a slight hint of vanilla also. Medium body and sweet. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Aug 7, 2009 A gold pour with a creamy white head and lace. Medium doughy, yeasty aroma. Light brown sugar with a hint of oxidation. A tad foamy but still a decent beer. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 8, 2009 Noogfest High 5. Sample from a bottle thanks to someone. Pale yellow, white ring. Aroma is cedar, floral, pale malt. Taste is cedar cash, wood, pale malt, spicy. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 8, 2009 @Noogfest High5-22oz bottle-pours a thin white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is light malt-bready/sweet, some spice. Taste is light malt-bready/sweet, some spice, vanilla. Damico (162), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 8, 2009 The aroma is almost that of a sweet wine - like cold sake. It pours a light golden ale color with a small white head. It has a unique, slightly sweet flavor, but the finish has a serious resemblance to cold sake. The temperature effect on this one is opposite - it gets worse as the temperature goes up. jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA May 27, 2009 From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. A funky flavor probably the rice with a lingering aftertaste. dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Mar 15, 2009 Bomber courtesy my buddy Ian. Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Fruity rice graininess aroma with a touch of mustiness. Taste is smooth pilsener style malt, euro hops and fruity yeast esters and a little sweetness. Odd brew, but I enjoyed it.
