| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 3, 2003 This is a plain looking pale beer with little head or lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet with sour notes, hints of lemon and a touch of bitterness. The flavor is rather weird. I can't expain all the weirdness, but I did notice bitter and woody notes, with wheaty accents. It's light on the palate and slightly dry. I'm not a huge fan of wheat beers but this one is really not to my liking. I won't be looking for this beer ever again. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 26, 2003 Crystal clear, light yellow ale. Medium-sized, frothy, white head.
Hearty, rich and doughy aroma. Lightly spicy as well.
The flavor is malty with notes of honey and light caramel. Well-balanced with barely tart and bitter hops.
Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Short, tart finish... dryish, though.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 16, 2003 Bottled. Poured a golden yellow color with a small white head. It had a slight malt nose with a slight malt taste. As the name implies, this is a summer beer, due to its light tasting characteristics. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as the label lets you know what you're getting...and it does. This is a good summer session beer. I will definately try this again when I'm in the mood for a light, drinkable beer.
