Commercial Description:
Summer Wheat Ale is a highly drinkable, light bodied ale. The use of wheat and careful hopping produce a beer with a flavor that is slightly tart, with a citrus-like finish. Available May to September

12 oz. bottle. Pours sunny yellow with fizzy white head, 1/2 finger, dissipating to a white film with mild lacing. Skunky corn nose with mild maltiness w/ a touch of butter. Taste is sweet malt with mild buttered popcorn, carbonic mouth feel with a crisp ending, only mild butter notes lingering. Nice lawnmower beer, but not really my bag.

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Very little aroma here as is with most summer ales. Pretty boring medium urine color. Taste is non descript: light citrus & wheat. Decent to average summer sipper

Objectively speaking: A very soft and delicate blonde wheat ale.
I like: Fresh wheat and pale malt aroma. Relatively crisp bodied. Soft herbal hop allusions. Zesty lemon notes sometimes manage to evoke a pie.
I dislike: Rather bland ultimately, fair lawnmower beer, but a whole evening on this must get boring.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Pours a nice golden color with a small white head. Aroma is light with citrus and a touch of lemon, I think. Taste is a bit tart and clean. Not too bad.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant bright golden color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was tangy and sour with a light musty cardboard undertone. The flavor was bitter, tangy and sour with just a hint of fruitiness. Tasted an awful lot like a typical industrial lager. Nothing interesting going on here.

Bottle. Pours gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma light with notes of sweet fruit and citrus. Light body. Flavor is more tart than sweet with notes of lemon and spice. Not bad.

Light golden body with heavy foaming from the bottle. Wheat bread with honey and hops for the aroma. Bland taste, light honey. Slightly rough ending.

Very light wheat aroma and extremely light spices. Clear yellow color with a small white head. Lightly tangy in the beginning with a mild wheat finish. Sticky palate in the end.
