Commercial Description:
Otter Creek Brewing’s 13th "stop" on the World Tour is available starting in October. "Otter’s Dubbel" is a Belgian-style Dubbel. True to style, it is rich and malty with a hint of caramel. The caramel comes from the use of a traditional ingredient in Belgian ales- dark candy sugar.

Bottle. Pours a dark brune body with a tan head. Malty fruity body. Candied fruit, plum and dark cherries, raisins, caramel sweet with a tart finish. Licorice and a light cardboard finish, comes together quite messy. Eh.

( 22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) Pours light brown with creamy light tan head. Nose of light chocolate. Taste has light chocolate, vinous, creamy and well carbonated. Oddly drinkable and full of flavor. I guess I disagreed with about everyone on this one.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a dark brown with red hies, clear, with beige head. Aroma of dark roast and some lemon. Flavor of faint dark roast, lemon, a little funk. Mouth feel is light body with fizzy carbonation. Overall, this tasted like an old version of their porter. Not all that great....

Large bottle. Should have known better as it was on sale for really cheap. It pours a dark brown with a tannish head and nice lacing. So far so good. Unfortunately the taste is where it really let me down as it was overly sour and sweet at the same time.

Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Heavy brown pour with light tints on the edge. Interesting smell. A very cidery and sour smell. Might be infected. Sour as hell taste! Oh man this has got to be infected. Not great.
