Commercial Description:
Otter Creek Brewing’s 13th "stop" on the World Tour is available starting in October. "Otter’s Dubbel" is a Belgian-style Dubbel. True to style, it is rich and malty with a hint of caramel. The caramel comes from the use of a traditional ingredient in Belgian ales- dark candy sugar.

Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Heavy brown pour with light tints on the edge. Interesting smell. A very cidery and sour smell. Might be infected. Sour as hell taste! Oh man this has got to be infected. Not great.

On tap at WIllimantic Brewing. Wow, this was bad! Pours a clear brown with a small white head. Aroma of cough syrup and sweet syrupy malt. Flavor of more medicinal cough syrup. This is a truly disgusting beer. I’m not sure what went wrong in the brewing process of this beer, but something surely did. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one. 4/3/3/2/7/ (1.9/5)

Sampled from tap at Willimantic Brewing. ...And a sample was more than enough, thank you very much. Medicinal and putrid are the best words I can use to describe this mess. And those are really the only two words I feel I need.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of weewantarim138. Poured a deeper brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate, dark fruits, and yeast. Tastes of dark fruits (tart cherries), grapes, and caramel.

Thanks to weeweiner138. Pours a hazy deeper brown with deep amber notes and a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of dark fruits, tart cherry, tobacco, light alcohol, toffee and earthy. Flavor of grapes, some tart cherry, kinda sour and funky, very sweet with loads of caramel, Belgian yeast and toffee.
