When you actually drink it, the hops aren’t as strong as the initial aroma suggests. I like this beer a lot, but it’s far from perfect; I actually think it’s too sweet. I would prefer it to be a bit more bitter too. And the malt is not complex enough. Metalhead (571), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Very avg. beer. Light copper color with a film for a head. Very little lacing. Mild hop with a hint of floral especially in the finish. The low ABV doesn’t help any. Easy to drink but again, avg. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 23, 2006 12 oz bottle: I liked this APA. Amber color. Quite hoppy indeed, liked all the Cascade, although had a smooth sweet malt character as well. Some metallic in the taste and a weak aroma nocked a little off the overall score, but good. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 17, 2006 Pours an amber with a decidedly red influence. This is hoppier than I expected from Otter Creek. Doesn’t have the fresh hop aroma of a dryhopped beer, but they used a good bit of hops here. A bit of diacetyl. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 15, 2006 Pours yellow gold, white head with large bubbles. Smells amazingly floral, like a real bouquet of wildflowers. The flavor is a tinge of bitter, not much at all. Ok buttery hoppy flavor. This is definitely refreshing after a 90 degree day here in WI. This beer is strange in that it’s leaving me with absolutely no aftertaste save for a touch of piney flavor (gin?). I think I was expecting more with this one; below average to say the least. Drinkable, but there are far better apas out there. ghawener (963), San Salvador, El Salvador
