The nose on this beer is classic, with lots of vibrant, lemony/citric hop aroma paired with slight hints of estery fruit. The palate is actually leaner than I remember, and is just a tad smaller than it should be. This is a minor flaw however, as it makes the beer even more quaffable. Some nice pale malt flavors and juicy, estery fruit flavors coat the tongue. Otter Creek Pale Ale finishes with some crisp maltiness up front, then ends with a very pleasing, dry, citric hop bite that slightly lingers.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 25, 2006 The first time I had one of these, I thought it wasn’t very good.....maybe I’m not a huge fan of bitterness without some other flavors. This a single hop beer by the sound of Otter Creek’s blurb. That being said....
Clear dark orange pour with a small white head. Doughy, yeasty aroma. Nicely spiced and just the right amount of hop bitterness on the finish. Sregnar35 (730), Rotterdam, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2006 Ths stuff isn’t too bad, it’s got a nice retaining head that laces well. The aroma is subtle hops. Palate is a bit thin, but the flavor is nice bitter hops, enjoyable stuff. jb (1057), Rochester, New York, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 30, 2005 Pours to a clean glowing amber body with a thin white head. The first aroma is littered with tons of cascade hops. Smells very fresh and nice. Floral, perfume, and citrus hops. The flavor is oranges, pine needles, and malted barley. The mouthfeel has an oatmeal used in the beer like feel. Dry feel. SwedeDog (364), Windsor, Connecticut, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2005 Bottle. Poured clear and light with a small head, but at least it was there. Not much in the aroma area, a little piney. Flavor is slightly better as it adds some sweetness from malts to the equation to go along with the dry hoppiness. Finishes crisp and dry. porterhouse (1162), Alna, Maine, USA

Aroma of flowery hops. Pleasant mouthfeel, very smooth, goes down great. Tastes hoppy but not at all overdone. Finishes dry. A really nice beer. Dickinsonbeer (3499), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 31, 2005 Pretty much your typical cascade watered down slightly APA. Light hoppy flavor and aroma with a little bit of crystal malt for balance and a lightly bitter finish.
