| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2008 (Bottle). Hoppy aroma. Copper-amber in color with off-white head. Flavor is refreshingly citrusy, and with hops bite, but lacks boldness. One of the better efforts from Otter Creek. rds (230), USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 23, 2008 Not a very good pale, wheres the hops? Too watered down, the copper ale I had before this blew it out of the water. I could be alot worse, but not enough is happening here. I cant even say much about citrus or whatever, there just isnt enough of it. gws57 (1151), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Had this one bottled in a mix pack from World Market in St. Charles, Illinois, thanks Mom and Dad! Very nice, clear deep amber pour with a think, white head, very nice, citrusy hoppy nose. Plenty of bitterness but complicated by citrusy sweetness. Smooth finish. This beer is exactly why I love the APA -- hoppy yet complex. Nate (2569), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2008 From bottle. Light biscuit and mild sweet toasted malt. Muted but fragrant floral hops. Nice aroma. Golden dark amber clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium bodied with mild to medium carbonation. Starts with a muted grain-toasted malt sweetness, light biscuit and neutral fruitiness. Fairly strong bitter finish, medium astringency, with dry nutty quality. Nice ale, with hoppy sweet after.
