| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 7, 2009 Poured the usual brown-black, ok initial chocolate covered head, although the lacing was only mediocre. The aroma was strong coffee, some toffee. The flavor was super strong coffee all over the place, but in a good way for the most part, no chocolate detected, per the bottle, some roast. The mouthfeel was moderately bodied, acidic. Primary drawback was some under-attenuation and astringency, but a pretty good OC brew, first in a while? Decent if you like coffee in your IS’s. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 5, 2009 22oz. - Perfect Pour. Black, tan cream head. Ashy roasted caramel coffee and cream aromas develop into underlying notes of smoked pistachio nut. Dark chocolate and currant tones swirl with a faint toasted vanilla bean shot. Black chocolate and coffee caramel flavors balance on warm French vanilla notes. Full hop backing in the end rounds the monster malt bill out well. Full bodied, soft carbonation, drying, bittersweet finish. Great job Otter Creek! Looking forward to the new D-IPA… SudsMcDuff (1727), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2009 This is a better than average imperial stout. Black. Lightly roasted malt, and some hop presence. A little sweet, from the malt, but the roasted character lingers as well. A little fruit, and some red wine. Sregnar35 (732), Rotterdam, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 4, 2009 Nice stuff. Pours very dark. Aroma is hoppy for a stout. Flavor is very standup, but not standout. Tastes how an imperial stout should, nothing more or less.
