| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 3, 2009 22 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a beautiful vibrant orange gold color. Clear with lazy carbonation. Thin head with decent retention and lacing. Aroma is earthy and nutty with honey and distinct floral notes. Taste is grainy and nutty with strong honey notes. As a previous rater points out... oatmeal cookie is spot on. Also some faint notes of chamomile and a very faint bitterness. Medium bodied and somewhat heavy on the tongue. 6ROW (275), corpus christi, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 1, 2009 A great offering from VT. The pour is a muted clear brown with some light head. The smell is strong of the many grains and the sweetness of the honey that gives an outmeal cookie like expereince. The taste is again sweet from the many malts and the honry and finishes chamomile that makes this a good beer to relax with at night. well done otter creek. nuplastikk (1255), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 24, 2009 500ml bottle. Filtered orange-tan color. Mellow sweet aroma, maybe a touch of honey in it. The taste is sweet and smooth, relatively crisp and well-balanced for a beer assumably devoid of hops. The chamomile works out quite well, and does not dominate or stand out awkwardly. Some honey comes through as well, particularly in the finish. An interesting beer, post-Midas Touch, and I actually find this one preferable, albeit a little less elegant. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Pours copper and hazy with a white head. Smells of honey, spicy, earthy, tea, caramel, some sweetness I can’t quite place. Taste is multi-layered with lots of spicy elements and a nice mellow hint of chamomile on the finish. One of the best World Tour releases to date from this brewer. VTHopHead (936), Barre, Vermont, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Bomber - Poured a darkish golden amber in color with a very small white head and almost no carbonation. Aroma is slightly malty with a hint of spices and flowers. The flavor is quite unusual... mix of honey sweetness, bready yeast, spices (nutmeg?), flowers and slight hop bitterness... not too bad, mind you, but not the typical beer. This is extremely interesting... and I like it! KnN (754), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Poured a clear golden/amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is a bit of biscuit malt and maybe a little bit of spice. Maybe a touch of honey. Flavor is kind of cloyingly sweet. Like Splenda sweet. Artificial and unpleasant.
Haven’t been happy with this series of beers at all.
