| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 5, 2008 12oz bottle. Sour wheat and pasty old milk in the nose. A mix of crisp and frothy up front turning quickly to pasty, sour old milk and wheat germ. Really, really terrible, to be honest. I do not like drinking this. Tmoney99 (4765), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours chill hazy deep gold with very little head. Nose is grainy pale malt, lemongrassy hops. Tastes of Saazy, lemongrassy hops, with grainy pale malt and some honey and wheaty notes. There’s nothing offensive here, but there’s not really any way for me to give this a higher score, either. I think Barry’s last statement sums up my feelings on this one as well. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 16, 2008 12 ounce bottle from City Market in Burlington, VT (February 2008) served a little below cellar temperature from a Coors Banquet glass. Pours very clear gold, the head fills half the glass, white and chunky and lacing thickly as it subsides....nose is quite light, almost indistinct, herbal and grassy, some nice touches of biscuity malt, no problems really except that its so vague....body is fairly dry up until the somewhat bitter, spicy finish; noble hops and pils malt character are in evidence, this is certainly an attempt at authenticity, but it’s a bit too thin and watery and yeah, I get a touch of that metallic character that others mention, though the beer sweetens a bit with warmth and more malt presence counterbalances the harshness somewhat....like most of this brewer’s beers, not bad enough to irritate me, but not good enough to try again either. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2009 Bottle ( 12oz ). Slightly hazy pale gold, smallish fizzy white head. Pleasant fresh grain and clover aroma, a little bit of floral sweetness and dry earthiness. The taste is simpler - slightly sweet grain and some light dry floral/herbal bitterness - simple, no corn; tasty. Appropriately light-bodied, slightly chewy, light carbonation, nice dry slightly earthy grain finish - well done, Otter Creek!
