Slightly burnt chocolate malt backbone. Crisp grassy component. A little thin. Somewhat peaty with light root character. Non offensive but perfectly quaffable.

Pours pitch black with a decent tan head and a licorice aroma. The flavor is treacle and roasted malt with a bit of coffee. The taste is slightly thin, but otherwise a pretty good brew.
