halfonit (57), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA Aug 16, 2008 It has a faint hoppy smell to it and your average golden color.
Has a little hoppyness in the flavor but also a bitterness to go with it.
After taste leaves a bitter, almost like a lead flavor, in the mouth.
Overall it’s not a bad beer but I don’t think that I’ll end up buying this one again. DrDavid (361), Johnson, Vermont, USA Jul 21, 2008 From bottle. Disappointing offering. Watery, uninteresting, slightly sour. No finish. Not one to repeat. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 5, 2008 Objectively speaking:
A simplistic and inoffensive pale lager
I like:
Clean flavour profile. Soft herbal hoppiness.
I dislike:
Rather dull grainy malt lineage. The key to this type of beer is to expose the taster to a trove of freshness and this is not quite managed here although no signs of age are noticeable either. Quick-finished.
kimcgolf (665), Dacula, Georgia, USA Jan 26, 2008 Not much better than a BMC lager here. Poured to a golden yellow with medium-thick white head that dissipated quickly and left little lacing. Aroma was grainy with little else to offer, and the flavor was no better.
Not even a good session beer. Not much good to say about this one. Pwn3d (621), NYC, New York, USA Jan 10, 2008 Had an Altbier from Otter before this and I was pleased with it. Unfortunately, I cant say the same thing about this one. Offensive and the hops are a bit off. This is not properly classified/
