TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light to medium yellow with nice carbonation threads and an average to large, sudsy, white head that slowly diminished and kept a thin cap leaving a fair, crytal looking lace. The aroma was lightly malty and light to moderately grassy hops with light yeast. The initial flavor was lighlty sweet and bitter, while the finish was moderately bitter and sour with an average duration. The flavor was lightly malty moving to a more bitter hop finsh with a little more malt coming back in the throat. The light body was a little dry but mostly watery with fizzy carbonation and a metallic finish. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

clear dark gold, wispy white head, streaks of lace, sweet candied malt aroma with light floral hops, light bitter malt flavor, just a touch of sweetness, bitterness grows into a long bitter finish, decent example of the style

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2007 May 2005 - Poured light golden brown with nice head and lacing. Most notable is that this is probably the hoppiest lager ever. I’d say it’s unbalanced, but I guess that’s a matter of opinion. If you’re a hophead going for a lager with some bite, this might be for you. I wish I could have tasted the malty/fruity/toffee tastes others have mentioned. JAF737300 (801), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 25, 2007 Pretty much down the middle. Notes of malt on the nnose and larger greass like notes of malt on the mouthfeel with a bit of a bruned edge. It drinks dry and crisp and the finish has that odd burned aftertaste. beachbum25 (802), Powellville, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 22, 2007 12 oz Bottle-Poured a clear golden/copper color w/a moderate foamy off white head. Slight hopped aroma. Really just not a whole lot here, some hops, grass, a little sweet. Inoffensive but uninspiring. Somewhat dry, short finish. I’d drink it if someone was giving them away, but don’t bother to seek it out. jeremytoni (1127), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 4, 2007 From a bottle: This poured a crystal clear golden hue with a thin white and poofy head. The aroma is light, with biscuity, malt-based tones. This drinks smooth and refreshing, with a definite malt-cookie basis. The finishing bitterness is nice, more or less in a Germanic pilsner vein. Good brew if you’re in the mood for a mellow drinker, this would go well with some stronger charactered foods. (#2682, 2/4/2007) jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
